ElementBirth is a family business run by Caitlin Heavey and Neil Stoddart.
Caitlin Heavey qualified as a Physiotherapist in Dublin in 1982. She has always been interested in Women's Reproductive Health.
Caitlin qualified as a Certified Active Birth Teacher in 1994 and was taught by Janet Balaskas, director of the Active Birth Centre in London.
She was an agent for Splashdown Waterbirth Services in 2001-2003.
She is a member of YogaBirth, an international organisation of yoga teachers in childbirth education. Caitlin is one of 4 tutors on the New YogaBirth Teachers Training Course, training the next generation of International teachers.
Caitlin is one of the directors of Mulberry House, a complementary centre in the west end of Edinburgh. Mulberry House is home to 25 therapists and teachers many of whom are involved in holistic health care during pregnancy, childbirth and early parenthood including Pre and Post-natal Yoga, Birth Preparation and Baby Massage.
